Between the read passages, Jean-Pierre Zala repeatedly invites exchange. In conversation with the audience, it's about love, loss, courage, self-discovery, fate and hope – but also about the question of how much personal experiences, family influences and the shadow of World War II have flowed into the novel. How close is there between the author and his character Luc? What significance do queer themes and the courage to be true to oneself have? Everyone interested in moving stories, historical backgrounds, contemporary questions and the healing power of love is welcome. After the event, Jean-Pierre Zala will be happy to take time to personally sign his novel.
