Together we want to look back gratefully and at the same time begin a new musical love story: our Klangwelle at Zürichsee «France». As always, the string quartet is at the centre. Among its most important repertoire are Debussy and Ravel – with their sounds, harmonies, elegance and refinements, they have shaped French music like few others. Around these two protagonists, we discover 12 more composers together, whose chamber music will guide us through a colourful palette of strings, piano, and glorious wind sounds – letting ourselves be enchanted by the rich facets and spirit of France. New this year, we're opening a «podcast» series as another, very personal window into this sound world: In conversations with musicians, experts and friends of the Stradivari family, we want to share stories, backgrounds and favourite moments – to listen to at home or on the go. Of course, our proven formats remain: the «Lighthouse» as an in-depth cultural education event, the «Preludes» for introduction, as well as «Aperitivos» and «StradivariTABLES» for direct exchange after the concerts. The sound journey to Paris also sets our hearts racing well in advance.
