The dance group Rämibühl shares the stage with the pantsulasong dancers of Fishers of Man Arts Project from South Africa, tap dancer Amanda Bisig and Elfi Schäfer-Schafroth. New pieces and original short choreographies by young dancers meet a retrospective of BackGround – the stories of pantsulasong dancers from the townships of South Africa and a child laborer in Switzerland, of migration, exclusion and belonging. A poetic and powerful evening – rooted in the past, anchored in the present and directed towards the future. With the hope for a shared future across all boundaries.
